- Provides complete nutritional support to children and adults
- Offers holistic care and support to the PLWA
- Fights stigma and social discrimination attached with HIV /AIDS in the community
- Empowers PLWA and the affected families to take control of their lives
- Offers employment opportunities for total reintegration
- Documents various issues related to treatment, counselling and support of HIV/AIDS
- Networks with other CBOs /NGOs working in the same field
- Assists PLWA to access anti-tubercular drugs and ART from designated government centres
- Offers legal aid to PLWA to establish their civil and human rights
- Creates awareness and fights HIV / AIDS in the immediate community through information, education and communication
- Offers marriage counselling for PLWA
- New Light proposes to set up a 60 bedded super speciality care centre named Sanjeevani Welfare Care Centre for PLWA in south 24 Parganas , 25 kilometers from the city of Kolkata.
- The care centre would also run eight different OPD and allied services for the general population of the area.
