Project India Workshop
Beauty for Freedom and a handpicked team of artists, creatives, and designers from New York will conduct a series of music, mural-making, photography, and empowerment workshops for the at-risk women and children of New Light. The art, empowerment, and photography workshops aim to help children creatively express themselves while discovering their potential, learn about and embrace their inner beauty and increase their self-esteem.
To sustain and grow their empowerment initiatives through the arts, NYC based anti-trafficking non-profit Beauty for Freedom in collaboration with Kolkata, India based community development project New Light will be producing a series of music and photography workshops meant to promote self-esteem and self-expression for the at-risk youth and survivors of human trafficking of New Light. The workshops aim to help at-risk youth and survivors of human trafficking creatively express themselves while discovering their potential, learning about and embracing their inner beauty and increasing their self-esteem.
