Diwali Celebration

As Diwali signifies the festival of lights and like every year we celebrated the 'Festival of Lights' with the children at New Light and provided them a platform where they could enjoy to the fullest. The children had a real blast and hence changed this event into a real festival.

During the celebration, lamps were lit by the children with a strong belief that their light will bring brightness in the life of every child. The children were told about the essence of Diwali and the purpose of celebrating the same altogether without any kind of discrimination or individual differences. Other attractions of the programme were some games, recreational activities and a sumptuous dinner. The children also burnt some child-friendly crackers under the care of teachers.
