Nirbhaya Diwas

To mark a National Day in the memory of every woman who has suffered abuse and violence in the country and anywhere in the world, a day to mark Zero Tolerance for rape in India, New Light Kolkata has taken the lead to organize a silent march on December 16 every year to build mass awareness about crimes against women and girls as a sign of protest against heinous crimes such as rape.
