Sundarban visit with team - Clean Water for Children (CWFC)

Eleven hours on the road, crossed two major rivers, rickshaw and tuk tuk rides - New Light is very happy to be a part of the initiative of providing the children and the families of the Village of Sukumari in the Sundarbans and the neighboring villages with clean water in partnership with Clean Water for Children, NYC and Rotary Club of Calcutta, Chowringhee. The first of the series of the deep tube well was dug 800 plus feet deep, in the remote parts of the Sundarban Mangrove Delta, creating a positive shift in the children and their families by providing clean water solutions to villages that are so remote and forgotten.
